⚠️ IS JUSTIN SHA AN ATTORNEY?
CLAIM: In his failed 2018 campaign for City Council, Justin claimed to be an attorney on the ballot.
TRUTH: He graduated from law school, but does not hold a license to practice law in the state of California. He was refused admittance to the State Bar of California. He was a law clerk during his 2018 campaign.

⚠️ IS JUSTIN SHA A PROFESSOR?
CLAIM: Justin claims to be a professor teaching business law at Ohlone College in Fremont, California.
TRUTH: Justin is actually part of the adjunct faculty occasionally teaching one class of business law. However, his Ohlone College profile shows that he is an Adjunct Professor and includes a photo from his current campaign mailer. His father helped him acquire the job at Ohlone College. He does not have any teaching credentials. He is not a member of any State Bar Association. Clearly, he is not qualified to teach Business Law.

⚠️ DID RITESH TANDON ENDORSE JUSTIN SHA?
CLAIM: A Justin Sha campaign mailer to Republican Households indicated the support of Republican Candidate Ritesh Tandon for Congress who is opposing Ro Khanna.
TRUTH: Ritesh Tandon has never endorsed Justin Sha. Tandon only gave him an encouraging quote to soften his stance on prop 16. Now, Tandon has demanded that Justin Sha stop using any quotes. Ritesh has only met Justin once.

⚠️ SEOUL UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR IS A KOREAN SPY
CLAIM: A Professor who teaches at Seoul University is a Foreign National and Korean Spy.
TRUTH: The renowned Professor lives in Fremont. He worked at IBM for over 20 years. He is a U.S. Citizen.

⚠️ MAYOR LILY MEI & THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
CLAIM: "Lily Mei rejected by the Democratic Party".
TRUTH: Lily Mei received the most votes from the Democratic Party for endorsement. She only fell slightly short of the 60% threshold for endorsement which is very difficult in a 6 person race.

⚠️ MAYOR LILY MEI & REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS
CLAIM: Lily Mei takes money from Real Estate developers. He claims an Architectural Firm who contributed had worked on one project in Fremont.
TRUTH: The two listed companies cited, one is a general contractor who only does single-family home remodels and the other is a Dry Cleaning Company. He fails to mention that Lily voted against the project.
SOURCE: Easily obtainable with an internet search of the companies and the campaign disclosure forms of the Candidate.

⚠️ WAS THERE REALLY A SECRET SPY MISSION AT CITY HALL?
CLAIM: There was a secret spy mission with China at City Hall without Staff
TRUTH: The Chinese Consulate-General visited 4 Bay Area cities on a trade mission. The meeting was well advertised and is even on the Embassy web site. The staff chose not to attend even though invited because it was a Holiday, July 4th weekend. The City has hosted Trade missions from many Countries and Continents.

⚠️ MAYOR LILY MEI & THE CONTROVERSIAL BOOK
CLAIM: Mayor Mei voted not to make a controversial book mandatory with no alternatives acceptable for all teachers.
TRUTH: She voted to make the book not mandatory, but available for use by all students and classes as determined by each teacher. She went to every high school within FUSD to make sure the book was available.

⚠️MAYOR LILY MEI & HARVEY MILK DAY
CLAIM: Mayor Mei, while on the School Board, voted against Harvey Milk Day.
TRUTH: Mayor Mei voted to include Harvey Milk day as part of the FUSD's recognized holidays.
